ENDLESS
circumnavigating the globe

The plan

We will sail the classical (and easiest) so called “barefoot route”. The name reflects the fact, that most of it can be sailed without shoes, the route crossing mainly warm climate zones. Long distances will be managed with the help of constant trade winds. The dotted lines symbolize options. The start is in the Mediterranean Sea.

Planned route:

2008 Mediterranean Sea, clockwise: France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Gibraltar. End of November transatlantic to the Caribbean.
2009 North-caribbean, Cuba and Panama with San Blas.
2010 South Sea: Galapagos, Marquesas, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Cook Islands, Tonga, Fiji. I plan to arrive in New Zealand in October/November 2010
2011 After the cyclone season, the planned destinations are the Seychelles, Mauritius, South Africa, and finally via Brazil, Caribbean and Bahamas back to Europe. Maybe we add another year and sail Asia up to Thailand before going to south-west. But maybe, there will be a new plan, some day….
